Surpassed my already lofty expectations
The average age was certainly lower than my 19 years, but I still had an incredible time. The Friday Night Boys put on a fantastic show. Their energy was great, despite not knowing most of their songs, leaving me a little in the dark. I went with a solid group of friends and ended up meeting new people and making more friends. Hey Monday, in the same boat with not knowing their songs, still had an energetic performance with some adrenaline-pumping songs. Cassadee is stunningly beautiful. We The Kings came next, and the crowd knew most of their songs. Their performance was amazing, pumping up the audience very well. The headliners, The Killers, blew my mind. Their set was loud, energetic, and absolutely amazing. Zack was jumping all over the place, feeding off the crowd's energy. Alex's voice was outstanding, as usual. The show included circle pits, jumping, and everyone singing along. The moment when they played Jasey Rae and Coffee Shop Soundtrack had me beyond stoked. For Dear Maria, Zack and Alex handed off their instruments to the techs and worked the crowd. Jack jumped up on the railing with a huge crowd around him, singing along. Overall, the show was fantastic, but The Killers truly stole the spotlight. It was one of the best shows I've experienced in quite a while.
